About

Dr. Kennedy believes the journey to health starts with your annual physical, a visit to address preventive care and appropriate health screenings, while ensuring any chronic medical problems are addressed and stable.

Dr. Jessica Kennedy is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who has been practicing with Northwestern since 2012.

Dr. Kennedy completed her medical school training in 2009 at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.  She went on to complete residency training in 2012 in Internal Medicine at Northwestern, where she was the recipient of multiple Resident Teaching Awards.

She proceeded to join Northwestern Medicine as an Internal Medicine physician where she practiced in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago for 10 years.  She remained active in teaching, serving as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and as a preceptor for the Education-Centered Medicine Home, a longitudinal primary care clinical experience for medical students, where she received multiple Outstanding Teacher Awards.  She was also active in physician IT and EHR initiatives and served on several committees in this capacity.

Dr. Kennedy started her own practice in 2022 to pursue her dream of providing personalized, convenient medical care to patients where she could take the time required to care for the whole person, both in and out of the office.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Kennedy continues to teach medical students through the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Dr. Kennedy is on staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kennedy enjoys city life with her husband, two daughters, and dog.  She loves spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
